Three Factors That Create a Market

These are the most important factors in an entrepreneur's market-making.

What makes a market? Some different factors or factors could create or determine a market.

First, an entrepreneur must ask: what is the demand for this product or service? Does this mean there is a need for it?

This is the main factor that gives rise to a market.

An entrepreneur must search for a growing market and has a large number of customers who are willing to buy this product or service.

  • One should know who the competitors are?
  • What are their advantages and disadvantages?
  • What's their price?
  • How does the market know who will win the race?

These are the most important factors in an entrepreneur's market-making.

An entrepreneur should check the demand for the product or service at all levels, from the individual consumer to the corporations and from the local consumer to the national and international level. This is the most important factor in the entrepreneur's business and is the factor that creates profit. If you can't demonstrate your market to a third person, then you don't have a market at all.

In addition to the demand at the individual consumer level, an entrepreneur must study the demand at the business level.

  • How will the business be organized?
  • Where will it be?
  • Who will conduct it?

If you are starting a business, you must ask these questions.

  • What are the potential risks?
  • What are the strengths of your competitors?

An entrepreneur must find a growing market and has a large number of customers who are willing to buy your product or service. The second main factor that creates a market is the supply of the product or service. If there is a big gap between the supply and demand of the product or service, then it will not have an established market.

An entrepreneur must either create the supply of his product or sell it to the customers.

An entrepreneur must analyze the supply-side factors and know the product or service prices that he wants to sell. If he doesn't know the price, then he must find a supplier who will tell him. In addition to the demand and the supply, the third factor that creates a market is the competition between the suppliers.

An entrepreneur should use all the available factors to create a new market.

These factors can be many suppliers, one particular supplier, the absence of a direct competitor, or even the fact that no supplier has been found yet.
